Jason joined Kilmer, Voorhees & Laurick, PC, in 2023. He has tried over fifty jury and bench trials to verdict and maintains an active civil trial and arbitration practice. His current practice focuses on the representation of design professionals, developers, product manufacturers, business owners, employers, municipalities and local governments in disputes involving construction and development, professional malpractice, products and general liability, liquor liability, insurance coverage and federal civil rights violations. Jason also assists his clients in drafting contracts, recognizing and limiting liability, and drafting of internal policies and procedures.

Jason began his legal career over twenty years ago as an Assistant District Attorney in Multnomah County (Portland), Oregon where he prosecuted many misdemeanor and felony jury trials to verdict. Jason began practicing civil litigation in 2006 and was a partner at another Portland civil litigation firm for a decade before joining Kilmer, Voorhees & Laurick.

Jason was born and raised in Virginia and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1997. He received his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2001.

Jason moved to the Northwest in 2001. He currently lives in the Columbia River Gorge with his wife and three children where they enjoy the abundant outdoor activities the area has to offer.
